What is your privacy policy?

Minnesota Women in Marketing and Communications is committed to protecting your privacy. We use your e-mail address to contact you with information about upcoming events and opportunities. We also allow only our select number of sponsors to have a one-time, annual use of the MWMC member mailing list.  Beyond that, we do not sell or rent your personal information to other organizations. Occasionally, MWMC partners with other organizations on events and members receive information on jointly-held events.

Do I have to be a member to volunteer with MWMC?

MWMC is always seeking volunteers to assist at events and join our committees. These volunteer opportunities are open to members only. If you are a non-member, and would like to become involved, consider writing an article for our newsletter. Contact Melissa Harrison at melissa@alleecreative.com for a list of upcoming topics, or propose your own.

Who can attend MWMC events?

MWMC events are designed to serve the professional development and networking needs of women in marketing and communications-related fields. We are focused on supporting the career growth of other women through our association. All of our events are available to non-members, unless noted as a Member-Only event.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend an event?

MMWC will grant a full-refund to registrants who need to cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the event for Learning Lunches, half-day workshops and networking events. We request cancellation notices five business days in advance for all-day conferences. 

MWMC event registrations may be transferred if advance written notice is provided within 24 hours of any event. If a registration is being transferred from a member to a non-member, attendee will be charged for the difference in price.

Does MWMC provide free memberships to speakers?

While MWMC appreciates members and non-members who are willing to speak at our events, we do not provide complimentary memberships to any of our speakers.

Can I videotape or voice record MWMC events?

MWMC must respect our speakers and the material they present. Therefore we do not allow the use of video or tape recorders at our events.
