Putting Creativity to Work
Presentation by Mary Van Note and Beth Perro-Jarvis
Everyone wants to get more creative, but how to do that, exactly? And does creativity really matter out there in the real world? Our speakers, Mary Van Note and Beth Perro-Jarvis of Ginger Consulting, will share real-world examples of creative successes and techniques for bringing out your best right-brain ideas. You will come away with tools to use every day in your work -- and the rest of your world -- to be more creative and effective.

About Our Speakers:
Mary Van Note and Beth Perro-Jarvis are partners at Ginger Consulting, a brand, research and ideation firm built to serve today’s fast moving business environments. They have many years of experience working with blue-chip clients like Nordstrom, Starbucks, the Gap, Coca-Cola and DeBeers.
Van Note is a former planning director at Fallon, and Perro-Jarvis is a former account director at Fallon. Both have extensive agency experience and the war stories to prove it.

Dress for Success Clothing/Jewelry/Purse Drive
This programming year MWMC is looking beyond just the “career” and incorporating the “life” into our programing. One step towards this initiative: more volunteer opportunities that help women in our community. We will continue with this effort by holding a Dress for Success Clothing/Jewelry/Purse Drive at this event. Dress for Success is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women in the Twin Cities by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. We are encouraging all attendees to bring one item (clothes, jewelry, purses) to donate to Dress for Success. We have collected several items so far, so continue to clean out your closets and keep the donations coming. All items will be collected at registration.
